TOP SHELF SELECTION:
Stonestreet 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon - Alexander Valley. Notes of crushed rocks, spring flowers, blackcurrants, plums, and Asian spice are followed by a rich, full-bodied, pure and impressive Cabernet. 91 pts., Wine Spectator
WHITE WINE SELECTION:
Elouan 2015 Rosé - Oregon. Bright acidity enlivens the palate with firm red berry fruit flavors combined with tart, dried apricot and concentrated minerality.
The Crossing 2016 Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand. Lifted notes of bell pepper and passion fruit, underpinned with citrus notes. The palate is full with pure fruit flavors, yet balanced with a persistent, crisp mineral finish. A MAW top-seller.
Markham Chardonnay - Napa Valley. This wine is rich and creamy, with flavors of spiced-apple, lemon, and toasty vanilla. The finish is appropriately lush for this soft, indulgent white. A MAW top-seller.
RED WINE SELECTION:
Montes 2014 Malbec - Chile. A lovely butterscotch and slight spiciness is well integrated with subtle notes of vanilla from the oak aging. A full-bodied wine, with ripe tannins and voluptuous mid-palate and a long, very enjoyable, finish.
Palladino Barbera D’Alba - Italy. This ripe red is balanced by lively acidity, offering blackberry and black currant flavors that pick up a hint of licorice and black pepper as this glides to the long finish.
Aviary 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley. Aromas of smoke, leather, orange peel, and chocolate followed by delicious notes of dark fruits and cherry. Flavors of luscious dark fruit, currant, and cigar box follow on the palate.
