TOP SHELF SELECTION:
Inkblot 2014 Cabernet Franc - Lodi. Black cherry on the mid-palate, and a bit of graphite on the finish with a touch of vanilla. It shows complex aromas of freshly crushed fruit (blackberry and plum), pepper and tobacco. Velvet-smooth tannins, dense and rich, this elixir fills every corner of the mouth with its decadence.
WHITE WINE SELECTION:
Acacia 2015 Rosé - Napa Valley. Hints of mineral and hibiscus flower tea add complexity, while the ripe, juicy flavors give the impression of sweetness. And yet the wine is dry.
Starborough 2015 Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand. Passion fruit, guava and kiwi harmonize on the palate with hints of fresh green notes, complemented by crisp acidity and a juicy, refreshing finish.
Acacia Carneros 2014 Chardonnay - California. Rich, silky layers of spiced baked apples and pear, with a hint of minerality appearing mid-palate. The flavors, perfecting an exquisite balance of lemony acidity and creamy complexity, then culminate in a lingering finish graced by hazelnut and oak spice from barrel fermentation and aging.
RED WINE SELECTION:
Folk Machine Parts and Labor 2015 Blend - California. This wine is smooth and light to medium-bodied with tons of nicely integrated spice. There’s also plenty of delicious fruit – fleshy apple notes, blueberry and assorted red fruits primarily. 44% Syrah, 30% Carignane, 12% Grenache, 10% Barbera.
Flegenheimer 2014 Shiraz - Australia. Wonderfully spicy cinnamon and clove-laced nose with hints of anise and cracked black pepper over a core on blackberry and plum preserves.
Floating Rock 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon - Washington. Bold and assertive with brambly boysenberry fruit and Eastern Spice flavors.
