WHITE WINE SELECTION:
HP 2015 Picpoul de Pinet - France. Fresh and fine aromas of grapefruit and exotic fruit. Lime flavors, with typical focusing acidity, are hallmarks of Picpoul. Made with 100% Picpoul, aka Folle Blanche.
Le Mont 2014 Sancerre - France. This well-made, 10,000-case Sauvignon Blanc from the chalky soils of Chavignol, was vinified and aged in stainless steel. Abundant notes of honeyed grapefruit, lemon rind, freshly cut grass and crushed chalk give the wine a distinctive minerality. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Markham 2014 Chardonnay - Napa Valley. Freshly picked Bartlett pear and Golden Delicious apple aromas are highlighted by decadent vanilla and steely mineral notes. Rich and lush on the palate, the apple and pear flavors carry through. The sur-lie barrel aging gives layers of texture to the mouthfeel allowing the new toasty oak its own chance to shine.
RED WINE SELECTION:
Bocelli 2014 Sangiovese - Italy. Deliciously ripe and smoky, with notes of marasca cherry, granite, and rhubarb compote.The finish is long and suitably dry, with admirable acidity that makes the palate taut and pleasing.
Rock Wall Obsideana 2013 Red Blend - Lake County, CA. This blend is rich with sarsaparilla, red licorice, graphite, minerality, dark chocolate, cherry vanilla, hickory smoke, cola, and has a velvety blueberry finish. Blend: 50% Zinfandel, 50% Petite Sirah
Canoe Ridge 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon - Walla Walla, WA. Spiced floral aromas lead to layered juicy flavors of red currant and smoky plum, with a deep, velvety finish. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Syrah, 23% Merlot.
