TOP SHELF SELECTION:
Ridge 2014 East Bench Zinfandel - Dry Creek Valley. Nose of raspberry jam, pepper, violets. Full bodied and rich on the palate with red berry fruit and supple tannins. Firm acidity and mineral notes add to the long, elegant finish.
WHITE WINE SELECTION:
Stolpman 2015 Rosé - Ballard Canyon, CA. Early harvested 100% Garnacha adds complexity, giving the wine texture, body and amazing freshness. It’s bright, juicy, with watermelon and strawberry notes, but also a vein of savory herb and acid. So refreshing, and drinkable. Yes way, Rosé!
Matua 2014 Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand. The lively nose shows tropical and citrus fruits with subtle herbaceous characters. Its crisp fresh palate offers classic Marlborough acidity, structure and length. A MAW top-seller.
Educated Guess 2013 Chardonnay - Napa Valley. By combining the characteristics that both traditional barrel fermentation and stainless steel ferment provide, this Chard retains the delicious tropical fruit flavors, while also offering creamy notes, toast, spice, and vanilla without being overdone in any way. A MAW top-seller.
RED WINE SELECTION:
Festivo 2014 Malbec- Argentina. Festivo displays true varietal typicity of Malbec from the Uco Valley. Bright notes of violets are present, along with ripe red fruit aromas. In the mouth it is supple and elegant with a long pleasurable finish.
Barista 2014 Pinotage - South Africa. This supple South African red wine features coffee espresso on the nose and palate from the toasty oak aging. Lovely smoky richness and layering of dark fruit flavors.
Maison NIcolas 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon - France. Black fruit and blackberry aromas. Medium bodied with toasted notes on the palate with a hint of herbs. Nice finish with smooth and dry tannins.
